Special

Why must I make you feel special?  Do you want me to do special things for you?

I have a problem with this task.  You dare to believe that when I do something  "special" for you it makes you feel special.  How vindictive.  How shallow.  What a waste of self indulgence.  Isn't feeling special something you know you are or not?  Because feeling special should come from within.  Receiving it from someone through kind acts is like a carrying a validation card that notes that you are special.

Shouldn't we do things out of the generosity of our own uniqueness.  Its about being genuine.  To be bewitched body and soul.  To be real.  To be honest.  To be genuine.  Gestures that are genuine are honest, true and SPECIAL.  These gestures you believe are in the true likeness of what we therefore conclude to be special.  It is an effort well worth its time and patience.

People often  wonder why they waste their energy and efforts into doing something special to make someone feel special and when it fails they feel like a complete idiot.  They feel stupid for wasting their time and energy.  They then hence feel un-special.  However, if these acts of special were done in a genuine form from the heart, mind, body and soul then it is special without effort.  Anything genuine is in its realistic form.  Gestures that aren't genuine are idealistic because we are daring for a Cinderella ending.  A fairy tale gesture is just a story told in one perspective.  A realistic gesture is a story told and retold from both points of view.  Hence being special and feeling special are existing special.

Be genuine.  Be true.  Be realistic with an idealistic heart.  Being special comes from within.
